HSA Select values hard work, commitment, and excellence both on and off of the field.

We believe that a player's commitment to training sessions and games will not only help the program's success, but will also contribute to the individual’s personal ability to continually improve, as well as to each team's quality of play.

Athletes play soccer to have fun, to learn, to develop a passion for the game, and to improve their skills. In doing so, they represent their team, coach, parents and community.

HSA Select expects its players to maintain a high level of sportsmanship and fair play. Players must show respect for the game, the coach, teammates, opponents, and the authority of the referee crew.

Players

• will play within the laws and spirit of the game
• will display self-control in all situations and will not use foul or abusive language at any time before, during or after a match or training session
• will show respect towards the referee and his/her assistants as well as towards the opponents. They will not harass, abuse, or berate a referee for any reason. 

Attend all training sessions, matches, tournaments, and meetings unless excused by the head coach

• Show up 10 minutes early for practice and at least 30 minutes early for games
• Absenteeism may result in loss of playing time during matches (see Playing Time Guidelines)

Come ready to train or play!

• Wear designated HSA Select Attire: training shirt at traininig, home/away kit at games
  
• Cleats, shin guards, socks, water bottle, properly inflated soccer ball, warm clothing
